You have a seat waiting for you at One Table, Albany’s first annual event to take place in Downtown Albany, GA on Saturday, November 18, 2017, from 12 Noon to 3 PM. One table is a city-wide Thanksgiving potluck, and we want to make sure that people from all corners of the city feel invited. Why? Because we believe that all Albanians have a place at the table and what better way to come together as one and share a meal.
At One Table, there is joy, peace, love, tolerance, friendship, patience, understanding, and harmony. Whether you are young or old, rich or poor, tall or short, there is room for you at One Table. One Table is Albany, Georgia’s attempt to remove barriers and bring people from across Albany together to get to know each other and build understanding and friendship. This is how you make #AlbanyStrong! Let’s have a wonderful Thanksgiving meal together and give thanks for our great city!
All organizations, city and county departments, community leaders, religious and faith-based organizations, volunteer organizations and citizens of Albany, GA are cordially invited to participate in One Table. We’ll bring the turkey, dressing, gravy, and drinks. The meal is free and there are no expectations. We ask that if you can, bring your favorite dish (in a disposable container), enough to share with others.
We hope to see you there!
